Meet Our Board

Pauline Rodgers
President
Shanon Belle is from San Diego, CA. She graduated from Spelman College with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2008.
She works as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines and currently serves as President of the NAASC, Los Angeles Chapter.
One of her primary goals is to ensure that students of color have access to quality and affordable education.

Frederick Rodgers
Vice President
She currently works for a technology and telecommunications company as a Manager of Real Estate for Portfolio Management and Strategic Planning.
In addition to her work, Tamika is the proud mother to her son Caleb and enjoys being an active member of the PTA where she serves as the Chair of the Literary committee.
She enjoys volunteering, promoting academic excellence, and encourages college education. Tamika is passionate about uplifting the next generation and believes education is the key to success.

Barbara Green
Treasurer
A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Jordan Greer (C’ 2012) previously served as the Student Relationship Chair from 2020-2022.
As the Associate Director at USC Race and Equity Center, she engages education practitioners in meaningful conversations about racial equity and seeks to co-develop real-world solutions that ensure the success of racially minoritized students in post-secondary education.
As the Treasurer of the NAASC-LA Chapter, Dr. Greer hopes to ensure access to all of her Spelman sisters who wish to connect through community service and sisterhood.
She currently serves the NAASC-LA chapter as Treasurer.
